Hi Adam, thanks for the invitation, I’m glad I can be here.

A:
Lucia, how did you get into drums and the metal scene?

L:
I got hooked on drums as a child when I started playing the piano, but I quickly became more interested in the energy of the drums. I discovered metal in my teens and knew right away that it was for me.

A:
What do you think is the hardest thing about playing metal as a drummer?

L:
Definitely speed and precision. Plus, you also need physical stamina and a sense of dynamics to make the band sound great.

A:
Do you use any Latin rhythms or percussion that could be incorporated into a metal set?

L:
Yes, I like to experiment with different rhythms. Sometimes I add a little samba or rumba to the transitions, which livens up the shows and the audience often loves it.

L:
Brutal Assault Festival, when we played in front of thousands of people.
