In a thunderous press conference held in a converted medieval fortress in Austria, Manowar frontman Eric Adams declared war not on false metal, but on an unexpected target: microwaves.<\/p>\n
\u201cThey corrupt the true hertz, man,\u201d Adams bellowed to a stunned crowd. \u201cEvery time you nuke a frozen burrito, Odin weeps. It disrupts the sacred low-end resonance of bass guitars!\u201d<\/p>\n
The band claims to have run \u201cscientific tests\u201d in an underground lair in Liechtenstein showing microwave ovens interfere with D standard tuning \u201cby at least 0.666 Hz,\u201d creating what Joey DeMaio calls \u201cfalse harmonics of treachery.\u201d<\/p>\n
As a result, Manowar has announced their most ambitious tour in years:<\/p>\n
