In a move that redefines \u201ccold metal,\u201d avant black metal band Obsidian Vortex has announced a historic one off performance at a research outpost in Antarctica. Billed as „Glacier\u2019s Grasp: The Frozen Sermon“, the concert will be livestreamed globally and \u201cattended\u201d exclusively by autonomous AI drones equipped with audio sensors and atmospheric analyzers.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ve always been about isolation, distortion, and the sublime violence of nature,\u201d said frontman Vormyndr via encrypted radio transmission. \u201cSo we decided: let\u2019s bring black metal where the sun literally doesn\u2019t shine.\u201d<\/p>\n
