\nHi Adam, thanks for the invitation, I’m glad I can be here.<\/p>\n

\nLucia, how did you get into drums and the metal scene?<\/p>\n
L:
\nI got hooked on drums as a child when I started playing the piano, but I quickly became more interested in the energy of the drums. I discovered metal in my teens and knew right away that it was for me.<\/p>\n
A:
\nWhat do you think is the hardest thing about playing metal as a drummer?<\/p>\n
L:
\nDefinitely speed and precision. Plus, you also need physical stamina and a sense of dynamics to make the band sound great.<\/p>\n
A:
\nDo you use any Latin rhythms or percussion that could be incorporated into a metal set?<\/p>\n
L:
\nYes, I like to experiment with different rhythms. Sometimes I add a little samba or rumba to the transitions, which livens up the shows and the audience often loves it.<\/p>\n
